WORRYING IS LIKE WORSHIPPING THE PROBLEM

You ever heard the phrase,

“worrying is like worshipping the problem”?

That one stuck with me. Because let’s be real — a lot of us are moving through heavy things right now. Life feels uncertain, emotions are high, and sometimes it’s hard to breathe through it all.

So I wanted to share something that’s helped me reconnect with peace and purpose: my relationship with the moon. 🌙

I’ve always been drawn to it. Since I was a little girl, I could sit and stare at the moon for hours, completely mesmerized. I didn’t grow up learning about moon cycles — I grew up Pentecostal — but my parents raised me to be spiritual, not just religious. And that difference has shaped how I see the world.

As I’ve grown and become more intentional about my spirituality, I’ve realized that transformation isn’t just physical or emotional — it’s deeply spiritual. The most transformative thing we can ever do is live a life of intention.

The moon reminds me that life moves in cycles — just like us.
We grow. We release. We renew. We begin again.

🌕 My New Moon Rituals

These are the little ways I pause and set intentions each month:

  1. Wash day reset: I love washing my hair under the new moon — cleansing away what no longer serves me.

  2. Skin + space cleanse: I exfoliate, light incense or sage, and clean my home. It’s symbolic — fresh energy only.

  3. Journal and set intentions: I write down what I want to release and what I’m calling in — peace, clarity, abundance, love.

  4. Manifestation meditation: I close my eyes and visualize the version of me that already has what I’m praying for.

  5. Gratitude: I end every ritual by thanking God — for the moon, for the moment, for the ability to start again.

✨ Top 5 Manifestation Prompts

Use these to reflect and reconnect:

  1. What are you grateful for?

  2. What do you actually want to call into your life right now — like for real, not the safe answer?

  3. If nothing was off limits, what would you boldly ask for?

  4. When you think about abundance, what does it look like? What does it feel like in this season of your life?

  5. What small habits or daily choices line up with the version of you who already has everything you’re praying for?

Here’s your gentle reminder:
If the moon can move oceans — and we’re made mostly of water — then she can move us too.

So take a deep breath, sis. You’re not behind. You’re being aligned.

Happy New Moon 💫
